In 2022, Lenskart partnered with Owndays and took a majority stake in the Japanese-owned eyewear player that has a deep presence in Asia. With this partnership, we have added an additional 400 stores and

extended our reach to 15 countries.

About the Team & Role:

Dispatch team oversees the day-to-day operations of the dispatch department, ensuring the efficient and timely dispatch of goods, materials, and services. This role involves managing logistics operations and order processing teams, and troubleshooting any dispatch-related issues. This role will report to Manager of the department.

To Succeed in this role, you should have the following:

Preferably B.Tech. background

5 to 8 years of experience in supply chain and dispatch department

Expertise in large work force management

Good Arithmetical and Analytical skills

Should have knowledge of quality management tools

Strong knowledge of operational issues and the resolution process

Ready to work in Rotational shifts

You will be responsible for:

Develop, monitor and motivate the team to achieve higher goals.

Monitor day to day activities of the department and ensure targets are met on time.

Coordinate with production and warehouse departments for better planning of dispatch activities

Ensure timely order processing and dispatching of the customer orders

Manage the receiving and dispatching of goods, verifying quantity and quality

Manage logistics operations and timely departure and arrival of deliveries

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
