We are looking for an experienced Planning & Reporting Techno-Functional Consultant with a strong background in Panasonic PSI (PlanningSalesInventory) processes, deep expertise in SAP BW, and working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Anaplan.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business teams and IT, delivering end-to-end planning, reporting, and analytics solutions that integrate SAP ERP, BW data warehouses, and modern planning platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Functional Expertise

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with Panasonic business teams to understand PSI processes, corporate planning cycles, and reporting needs.
  • Provide functional consulting for Planning, Sales, Inventory (PSI) forecasting, demand planning, and supply balancing.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and planning solutions.
  • Manage data extractions from SAP S/4HANA using ODP, CDS views, or custom extractors.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and reconciliation across planning and reporting layers.

Integration with Microsoft Fabric & Anaplan

  • Support integration of SAP BW and S/4HANA data into Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Synapse, Power BI) for modern analytics and visualization.
  • Collaborate with Anaplan model builders to provide data feeds (master data, transactional data, and forecast inputs) from BW/Fabric to Anaplan.
  • Assist in building data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and API-based integrations to enable Connected Planning.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop Power BI dashboards and Fabric-based semantic models using BW and S/4HANA data for management and operational reporting.
  • Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking across the PSI planning cycle.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with Panasonic IT governance, data privacy, and security standards.
  • Recommend best practices for master data management, planning model optimization, and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML forecasting within Fabric or Anaplan to improve planning accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Business/Functional Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Panasonic PSI processes (PlanningSales–Inventory, Demand Planning, Supply Balancing).
  • Understanding of corporate Planning & Reporting cycles (budgeting, forecasting, management reporting).
  • Technical Expertise
  • Hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA (data modeling, BEx queries, ETL/ODP, performance tuning).
  • Experience integrating BW/S/4 data with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, OneLake, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with Anaplan Connected Planning concepts and data integration.
  • Strong data modeling, reconciliation, and SQL/DAX skills.
  • Experience in large-scale manufacturing or electronics industry is a plus.

  • Accuracy and timeliness of PSI planning data across SAP BW, Fabric, and Anaplan.
  • Improved planning cycle efficiency and user adoption of integrated tools.
