Role Description

This is a full - time onsite role for a Functional Tester at Cloudologic. The Tester will be responsible for performing day-to-day testing activities, creating test cases, executing test scripts, analyzing test results, and reporting defects. The Tester will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of cloud solutions.

Key Requirements

Independently analyze requirements to the systems and derive test cases using known test design methods to reach the needed coverage

Share test cases for a review with the tech consultants and test managers and incorporate changes if needed (offline review via email is sufficient)

Independently upload the test cases to the Jira Xray test repository

Perform test cases as part of assigned test executions for planned releases and attach the evidence for the tests executed

Report identified issues as defects in Jira and retest the same once fixed by the developers

Align with teams from up or downstream systems on the testing in case any integration tests are carried out

Conduct defect triage calls to go through the test cases, update the status and follow up that the defects are getting fixed

Ensure after a release test cases for new features are updated to the regression repository

Ensure automated test cases are labeled accordingly in the test repository (to be aligned with the test automation engineers)

Participate in daily standup meetings

Participate on sprint planning meetings

Participate in backlog refinement sessions

Participate in sprint review meetings

If needed participate in knowledge transfer sessions to learn about new topics/requirements within the test team or with tech consultants from other teams (internal or external)
