Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester with strong expertise in Financial Regulatory Reporting and Compliance within the Banking domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing complex financial applications, validating regulatory reports, and ensuring end-to-end data accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for financial and regulatory reporting applications.
  • Validate reports and ensure adherence to compliance standards such as Basel III, MiFID, FATCA, etc.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Identify, document, and track defects to closure using standard tools.
  • Support UAT and ensure high-quality delivery within project timelines.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks and reporting standards in the banking sector.
  • Experience in manual and automation testing.
  • Proficiency with QA tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, or similar).
  • Understanding of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting.
  • Knowledge of ETL testing and data warehouse environments.
  • ISTQB or similar QA certification
