Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Tester with foundational experience in Salesforce to join our QA team on a freelance or contract basis. You will be responsible for testing Salesforce applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring quality standards are met before deployment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in Salesforce testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases (manual and automated) for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.)
  • Perform functional, regression, and UAT testing
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Collaborate with developers, BAs, and other QA team members to understand features and resolve issues
  • Validate workflows, validation rules, triggers, and custom objects within Salesforce
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test cases, test reports)
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in QA testing (internship/project experience counts)
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce platform (standard/custom objects, fields, workflows, etc.)
  • Familiarity with testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle)
  • Experience using test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
  • Exposure to Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
