Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Executive to oversee and manage our organizations facility operations. This role typically involves strategic planning, operational management, and ensuring the smooth functioning of buildings, infrastructure, equipment, and services within an organization. The Facilities Executive is charge of coordinating and supervising a team of facility staff, including technicians, maintenance personnel, and support staff.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facilities, ensuring their proper functioning, maintenance, and cleanliness.
Manage and supervise a team of facility staff, including technicians, maintenance personnel, and support staff, providing leadership, guidance, and training as needed.
Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement corrective actions as required.
Coordinate and manage facility projects, including renovations, expansions, and relocations, from planning to execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment.
Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in facilities
management, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to assign tasks and monitor their execution.
Conduct regular inspections to assess the cleanliness and maintenance standards and take necessary actions to address any deficiencies.
Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections for building systems and equipment, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility assets.
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of facility operations, MIS, Excel - MS- Office, Stakeholder management, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Flexibility to handle emergency situations or unexpected issues outside regular working hours.
Be willing to work in shifts as per the operational requirements of the organization.
Be available to work on Saturdays as per the operational needs of the organization.
Coordinate and schedule work assignments and staff rotation to ensure appropriate coverage on Saturdays.
Qualifications
Academic Qualifications : Any degree (regular).
Experience: 2- 3 years of experience in relevant fields.
