Job Summary

  • Handle the end-to-end process of import and export documentation including shipping instructions, bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA (Customs House Agents), transporters, and internal departments for timely shipment and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
  • Apply for and manage all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications required for imports/exports (e.g., IEC, EPCG, FTA).
  • Monitor shipments, track cargo, and update internal teams on the status. Prepare periodic reports on imports/exports, shipping costs, and lead times.
  • Assist in negotiating freight rates and optimizing cost-effective shipping solutions.
  • Manage documentation and filing systems for audits and record-keeping.
  • Resolve discrepancies in documentation or delays in shipments in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with banks for LC (Letter of Credit) documentation and foreign currency transactions.
