PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Product specialist is part of product development team and needs to liaise with different members of the development team to drive projects forward. This includes providing technical & domain knowledge to the team members, reviewing the product engineer's deliverables, preparing and updating training materials and has expert knowledge on product development procedures.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain design specifications, wire frames and interactive prototypes that illustrate interactions and address key user flows; design and construct technical data visualizations for data dependency and relationship modeling.
  • Develop required features of the product; Follow best practices to ensure continuous product development operations; Make product updates based on changing business demands.
  • Translate user research findings into effective solutions; Interpret and extend design principles and user pattern libraries.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and users to iterate designs from discovery through development.
  • Review the feature development of the reportees and provide the corrective feedback; provide technical support to the team members.
  • Mentor and coach product engineers and complete all mandatory/non-mandatory trainings and certifications for self-development.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A minimum 5-7 years of experience in a traditional Product Engineer role

DOMAIN/ FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Domain knowledge for which the Product is (being) developed is required
  • Knowledge of software implementation and packaging
