Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef, located in Ahmedabad. The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation in kitchens, ensuring quality standards in food and service, and managing kitchen staff. Duties include designing menus, ordering food supplies, overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and training staff. The Executive Chef will also be involved in creating new dishes and ensuring a memorable dining experience for customers.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills, including menu design and food preparation
- Experience in kitchen management and staff training
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and inventory management
- Innovative cooking techniques and recipe development
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is a plus
