Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and growing relationships with Key Accounts (hospitals, retail chains, corporate clients and distributors).
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, supply chain, marketing, finance) to ensure timely delivery of products and services to Key Clients.
  • Support the implementation of account strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales performance, analyse trends, and prepare regular reports on key account activities.
  • Handle client queries, resolve issues promptly, and act as the point of contact for operational matters.
  • Participate in negotiations and help in preparing proposals, contracts and presentations tailored to Key Accounts.
  • Identify potential upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of products, services, industry trends and competitor activities to support strategic decision making.
  • Track and report key metrics like revenue, growth, and account performance

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification :

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or related field.
  • Should have 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, key account management, or client service (preferably in pharma healthcare).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Customer focused mindset and proactive approach.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in selling to corporate hospitals or institutional businesses in critical care, oncology, or other specialty therapy areas.
  • Prior exposure to rate contract negotiations and handling tender business.
