Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing the branchs overall sales, operations, and business growth with a strong focus on technical sales. The role involves leading a sales team, developing customer relationships, providing technical solutions, and ensuring branch profitability in alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development

  2. Achieve branch sales targets (revenue, volume, and profitability).

  3. Identify and develop new business opportunities in automobile, engineering, and industrial sectors.
  4. Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and client negotiations.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, dealers, and end customers.

  6. Branch Operations Management

  7. Oversee day-to-day branch activities (sales, service coordination, inventory, administration).

  8. Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial terms, and statutory regulations.
  9. Monitor and control operational costs to maximize branch profitability.

  10. Team Management

  11. Lead, guide, and motivate the branch sales and service team.

  12. Conduct training on products, technical aspects, and sales techniques.
  13. Set performance goals and review team KPIs.

  14. Customer Service & Technical Support

  15. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to clients.

  16. Coordinate with the service department for timely issue resolution.
  17. Ensure customer satisfaction through quick response and effective solutions.

  18. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  19. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  20. Submit periodic reports on sales performance, market developments, and branch profitability.
  21. Provide feedback to head office for product development and strategy planning.

  • Strong technical knowledge of automobile/engineering products.
  • Proven track record in technical sales and business development.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and prepare business reports.
  • Customer relationship management and problem-solving mind-set.
  • Travelling required to meet customer and sales target.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Industrial Engineering (MBA preferred).
  • 8–12 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales (automobile/engineering industry).
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or branch leadership role.
