Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Tax Audit Manager with 1 to 3 years of experience. This full-time role is based in Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing tax compliance and conducting statutory audits. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals, contributing to the financial accuracy and integrity of our client's records.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must possess strong skills in tax compliance, ensuring adherence to local and national tax regulations (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in conducting statutory audits, providing an independent examination of financial information (Mandatory skill).
  • Proven ability in tax planning, identifying opportunities for optimization while ensuring compliance.
  • Proficiency in tax software, maximizing efficiency in tax preparation and filing processes.
  • Competence in compliance audit, maintaining organizational policies and procedures in line with legal standards.
  • Strong understanding of direct taxation, managing taxes related to income earned by individuals and organizations.
  • Expertise in indirect taxation, handling taxes on goods and services exchanged within the market.
  • Experience in preparing and filing accurate income tax returns, addressing all relevant reporting requirements.

  • Conduct detailed statutory audits, scrutinizing financial records to identify discrepancies or risks.

  • Utilize tax software to prepare returns and streamline processes, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Conduct compliance audits to determine the efficacy of business controls and adherence to regulations.
  • Advise on direct and indirect taxation matters, providing guidance based on up-to-date legislation.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and offer solutions to tax-related inquiries.
