Book Designer

We are looking for a creative Book Designer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on designing visually appealing book covers and page layouts, managing projects from concept to delivery. You will work directly with our internal team to understand design requirements, present concepts, and incorporate feedback to ensure each project meets our high standards.

This position is ideal for someone with at least one year of professional experience in graphic design and a passion for creative storytelling through design.

Note: We only encourage candidates living between Bhayandar and Goregaon in Mumbai to apply for this role since it requires commuting to our office from Monday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design engaging book covers and page layouts.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Communicate directly with internal content managers to understand design briefs, present options, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Use tools like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva and Illustrator to create high-quality designs.
  • Proofread and edit designs to ensure clarity, visual balance, and grammatical accuracy.
  • Stay updated with current design trends and incorporate innovative ideas into your work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in graphic design or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is mandatory. Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is also required.
  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to present designs and handle feedback professionally.
  • Creativity: A strong sense of design aesthetics, colour theory, typography, and layout.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy in design, proofreading, and final output.
  • Project Management: The ability to manage project timelines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Timings:

Monday-Saturday, 9am-6pm

Office Location:

Kandivali (West), Opp. Railway Station

Salary:

Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 28,000 per month (based on experience)
