Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Design Trainer with 5 to 10 years of professional experience in plumbing design and drafting (preferably in the MEP industry).

The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, practical, and engaging manner — both live and recorded sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct online live sessions and/or record video lessons on Plumbing Design and Drafting (residential, commercial, and industrial projects).
  • Teach topics such as:
  • Water supply systems
  • Drainage design
  • Pump and piping design
  • Water demand calculation
  • Firefighting systems
  • Relevant plumbing codes and standards (e.g., NBC, IPC, IS codes)
  • Design course content, assignments, and practical exercises aligned with industry standards.
  • Guide students on AutoCAD / Revit MEP plumbing design workflows.
  • Provide personalized feedback and career guidance to learners.
  • Collaborate with the ACTMEP content and marketing teams to improve course quality.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering field.

Experience: 5–10 years in Plumbing Design (preferably with MEP consultancy or construction projects).

Technical Expertise:

  • Plumbing system design for various building types
  • Firefighting systems
  • AutoCAD / Revit MEP proficiency
  • Understanding of IS codes, NBC, and international standards
  • Teaching/Training Ability: Strong communication skills and passion for sharing knowledge.
  • Preferred: Prior experience as a corporate trainer or online instructor.
