Role OverviewWe are seeking a driven and analyticalBusiness Development Executiveto lead sales initiatives and unlock strategic market opportunities for Okulo Aerospace. This is a hands-on, full-spectrum role right from identifying tenders and drafting proposals, to driving client relationships, market research, pricing strategies, and collaborative project execution.This is an on-site role based in Bengaluru and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-evolving tech landscape, takes full ownership, and can seamlessly translate product value into revenue growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the complete lifecycle of business opportunities, starting from identifying tenders to preparing compelling proposals, defining pricing strategies, and submitting responses with precision and clarity.Engage closely with companies across solar, infrastructure, security, EPC, and PSU ecosystems to understand operational realities and identify high-impact opportunities for drone-based surveillance and automation.Conduct sector-specific research to uncover emerging needs, competitive gaps, and whitespace opportunities, enabling strategic solution positioning within enterprise and government markets.Collaborate with industry stakeholders, system integrators, and on-ground operations teams to co-develop tailored approaches that align Okulo's aerial intelligence solutions with real-world challenges.Conduct in-depth market research to understand emerging trends, industry needs, and whitespace opportunities where drone solutions can create tangible value.Engage with stakeholders across sectors to uncover client pain points, align offerings with business needs, and build thoughtful, tailored approaches to each account.Establish and nurture client relationships through direct outreach, consistent communication, and presence at industry events that matter.Maintain structured and up-to-date records using CRM tools while leveraging automation to streamline recurring processes and improve overall efficiency.Collaborate closely with technical and operations teams to ensure seamless alignment between business development efforts and project delivery outcomes.Track market dynamics and competitor movements to stay ahead of shifts in demand, pricing, and product positioning within the drone and aerospace sectors.Support lead generation and outreach initiatives by contributing to well-orchestrated campaigns that bring in qualified, high-value opportunities.Requirements2–4 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in tech, aerospace, or engineering sectors.Strong understanding of sales pipelines, target-based selling, and proposal writing.Experience with tenders, bids, and government procurement processes is a strong plus.Bonus: Prior exposure to drone technology or aerospace solutions.Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.Self-driven, analytical, and able to work cross-functionally in a high-performance team.Why Join Okulo Aerospace?Okulo Aerospace offers a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of emerging technology and real-world enterprise challenges.
