Insurance Sales Representative

Role & responsibilities
- Reach out to potential customers via outbound calls to promote and sell insurance products across Life, Health, and Motor categories.
- Insurance sales are structured under multiple Lines of Business (LOBs); candidates will be assigned to a specific LOB based on their previous sales experience.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable insurance products tailored to individual requirements.
- Confidently explain policy features, benefits, premium structures, and terms to help customers make informed decisions.
- Handle customer queries and objections effectively to ensure successful conversions.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the assigned LOB.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, lead status, and sales closures in the CRM system.
- Ensure strict adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company compliance standards.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes within the insurance industry.
- Foster long-term customer relationships to drive renewals, cross-selling opportunities, and referrals.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in direct or telesales of insurance products (Life, Health, or Motor).
- Candidates with experience in any one Line of Business (LOB) will be aligned accordingly.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Hindi and English.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Confident in handling objections and closing sales over the phone.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales platforms is preferred.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Currently residing in Pune or willing to relocate on short notice.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be given preference.
