Designation title: Government Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Location: Mumbai/Pune/Bhubaneshwar/Bangalore

Role: We are looking out for an experienced Sales Manager to drive and manage our Government and PSU

(Public Sector Undertaking) sales vertical. The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of experience in sales,

with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering results. The Sales Leader will be responsible for

strategizing, driving sales growth, building relationships with key stakeholders in government and PSUs, and

managing a high-performing sales team

Responsibilities:







Sales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in the

government and PSU sectors.

Identify business opportunities, partnerships, and tendering processes to expand Chakr

Innovation's footprint.

Government & PSU Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, government bodies, and

PSU stakeholders.

Navigate government and PSU procurement processes, including tenders, contracts, and

compliance requirements.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve organizational goals.

Foster a results-driven culture, focusing on collaboration, training, and continuous

improvement.





Market Intelligence and Reporting:

Stay updated on industry trends, government policies, and PSU procurement opportunities.

Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior

management.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, including product development and operations, to align

offerings with market requirements.

Ensure customer satisfaction through effective collaboration with post-sales and support teams.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with a focus on government and PSU sales.

Team Management: Proven experience managing and leading high-performing sales teams.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of government policies, PSU procurement processes, and

tendering frameworks.









Network: Established relationships with government and PSU stakeholders is a significant advantage.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent

qualification is preferred.









Results-driven with a track record of exceeding sales targets.

Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and government procedures.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Passion for sustainability and cleantech solutions.
