Role Overview

As the Risk and Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing risks associated with share recovery cases and managing all documentation processes to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will help safeguard the firm and its clients from financial and legal pitfalls while ensuring smooth case progress.

Key Responsibilities

Review, verify, and validate all client documentation related to physical share certificates, transfers, inheritance, and dematerialisation

Conduct risk assessments on share recovery cases, identifying potential ownership disputes, compliance gaps, or fraudulent claims

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to resolve documentation discrepancies or challenges

Maintain and update documentation records and client files with high accuracy

Liaise with registrars, depositories (NSDL/CDSL), legal counsels, and external agencies as needed

Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (SEBI, MCA, Depository rules) and internal policies

Support internal teams by providing risk insights and documentation status updates

Assist in drafting and reviewing client agreements, indemnity forms, and legal declarations

Participate in training sessions for the team on documentation best practices and compliance updates

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent finance/legal background preferred

2 years experience in financial services, risk management, compliance, or securities documentation

Strong understanding of share market operations, dematerialisation, and legal frameworks

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills

Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams and external stakeholders

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM
