Role Overview:
As the VP – Growth Strategy & Insights you will lead and shape TRC Consulting's growth engine by transforming data into strategic insights, enabling our pre-sales and sales functions, and guiding senior leadership on key growth levers. You will build and manage dashboards and analytics frameworks, drive stakeholder alignment across Markets, Sales/BD, Delivery and Finance, and act as the go-to leader for growth strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, implement and maintain a robust growth dashboard ecosystem covering pipeline, conversion ratios, client segments, service-line performance, pricing/levers and revenue trends.
- Generate strategic insights from internal data (sales, service delivery performance, client feedback) and external data (market trends, competitor moves, sector analysis) to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with Pre-Sales and Sales teams: supply insights, client/industry intelligence, deal-structure guidance, service-offering positioning, value proposition support.
- Work with Markets/BD functions to develop GTM (go-to-market) strategies: market prioritisation, segmentation, service line expansion, pricing & bundling strategy.
- Manage stakeholders across functions (Markets, Sales, Delivery, Finance, Leadership) to ensure alignment, clear communication and execution of growth initiatives.
- Act as a decision-support leader: advise on resource allocation, prioritisation of growth initiatives, trade-offs; monitor performance and pivot where necessary.
- Be a self-starter: identify new growth areas, initiate pilot programes, track metrics, take ownership end-to-end.
- Ensure data sanity through proper backups and maintenance of relevant supporting documentation.
- Ensure timely issuance of supporting agreements and provide prompt intimation to stakeholders regarding agreement expiries.
- Should have a proven capability in managing large data sets and possess the credentials to effectively analyse the same.
- Present to senior leadership and possibly clients: growth status, insights, recommendations and next steps.
- Ensure continuous improvement: refine dashboards, improve insight generation, streamline processes for clarity and speed in decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in growth strategy, market insights, commercial analytics, ideally within consulting/professional services or high-end B2B service environment.
- Proven experience in dashboard building/KPI management, data analytics, business intelligence.
- Strong understanding of sales/pre-sales processes, business development in consulting or services environment (proposal support, value articulation, client segmentation).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication (written/presentations) and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated decision-making ability, strategic mindset with operational bias. Comfortable making trade-offs and owning outcomes.
- Self-starter attitude, high energy, able to operate in a dynamic environment.
- Consulting mindset – comfortable with ambiguity, client-facing, service-oriented.
- Experience working in a multi-function, cross-geography environment would be a plus.
