Job Description: IT Support Executive / IT Administrator
Location: Mumbai (with remote coordination for Hyderabad office)
Reports To: Operations/Management
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and reliable IT Support Executive to manage all IT-related tasks for our offices in Mumbai and Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hardware and software maintenance, user setup, server & cloud optimization, software tools, surveillance systems, and technical coordination for various business functions. This role requires hands-on experience, problem-solving skills, and a service-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware & Software Management
- Handle the procurement and maintenance of laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Prepare and configure systems for new joiners (laptops, email setup, required software).
- Install and update software applications across all devices in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory and service records for all technical assets.
IT Systems & Server Oversight
- Manage and monitor all email systems, access controls, and user configurations.
- Suggest and implement infrastructure optimizations (e.g., physical vs. cloud-based servers).
- Ensure smooth email forwarding and routing (e.g., Inova to ESSON).
Software & Application Support
- Administer tools like Zoho, HRMS, and other office productivity software.
- Maintain secure and reliable remote access for the Hyderabad office.
Website Maintenance Coordination
- Monitor company websites to ensure they are live and functional.
- Coordinate with web designers for content updates, news posting, or troubleshooting.
- No development work is required, but ongoing site support and management are expected.
AV & Surveillance Equipment Handling
- Set up and maintain audio-visual devices including TVs, speakers, and video conferencing equipment.
- Manage and monitor office surveillance cameras (Mumbai and Hyderabad locations).
- Ensure all systems are connected and functioning.
Additional IT Support
- Manage access cards, internet connectivity (including at the Directors residence, if needed), and mobile payment tracking from a tech angle.
- Provide assistance for any ad-hoc IT requirements across offices or residence, ensuring timely resolution.
Key Skills Required:
- Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar role.
- Knowledge of Windows/Mac systems, networking, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with business software like Zoho, HRMS tools, and email administration.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with third-party vendors.
- Ability to work independently and manage IT operations end-to-end.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or relevant field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience supporting remote teams and multi-location offices.
