What are we looking to hire?

We are looking for a driven and outgoing professional to spearhead business development, outreach, and client engagement for Treelife. This role will focus primarily on acquiring new clients, building strong networks within the startup ecosystem, and representing Treelife at industry events. Alongside this, you will also manage key existing relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth.

What will be your key responsibilities?

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities across financial, legal, and compliance services.
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations, understanding business needs and positioning Treelife's solutions effectively.
  • Own the entire sales cycle — from lead generation and consultation to closure.
  • Track and report sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM.

2. Outreach & Networking

  • Represent Treelife at startup ecosystem events, networking forums, and industry meetups.
  • Build strong relationships with founders, investors, accelerators, and ecosystem partners.
  • Act as the face of Treelife in Bangalore, driving brand presence and visibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to run outreach campaigns and thought-leadership initiatives.

3. Client Servicing & Account Growth

  • Act as a relationship manager for select existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding evolving client needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and quick issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and contracts in the CRM.

What are the key requirements for the role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Law, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B business development, sales, or client-facing roles (experience in professional services/startup ecosystem preferred).
  • Active network of VC's and founders is prefered
  • Strong network-building and interpersonal skills; enjoys connecting with people.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Comfort with regular travel across Bangalore/Delhi for meetings and events.
