Business Development Executive/Application Engineer

KKey Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by visiting potential clients in the field.
- Conduct door-to-door visits and attend local networking events to generate leads.
- Present and promote company products/services to prospective customers in person.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups and field visits.
- Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly field sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, client feedback, and sales activity using CRM tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on local market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly on-site.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
- MBA in Marketing (preferred)
Experience:
- 13 years of experience in field sales or business development
- Candidates with B.E. (Mechanical) and 1 year of experience, or B.E. (Mechanical) + MBA in Marketing are encouraged to apply
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools
Preferred candidate profile :
Experience: Minimum 6 months in the Sales domain, with proven understanding of market trends and customer engagement.
Educational Background: Diploma, ITI, or Graduate degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering and MBA Marketing.
Sales Acumen: Strong grasp of sales strategies and market behavior.
