Job Title: Production Manager – Galvanized Wire

Department: Production

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in Galvanized (GI) Wire manufacturing and wire industry processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day production operations of GI Wire manufacturing.
  • Ensure quality control as per industry and customer standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to achieve targets.
  • Manage and lead the production team, supervisors, and operators.
  • Optimize manpower utilization, machine performance, and resources.
  • Implement and monitor process improvements for higher productivity.
  • Control production costs, wastage, and downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports, MIS, and KPIs for management review.
  • Work closely with R&D and quality teams for product and process enhancements.

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering (preferred).
  • 8–12 years of experience in the wire industry, with at least 5 years in GI wire manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of wire drawing, annealing, galvanizing, coating, and packaging processes.
  • Proven leadership ability with team management experience.
  • Excellent skills in production planning, process optimization, and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with ISO, quality systems, and safety standards in manufacturing.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
