Job Title: Manager Sustainability/ ESG

Reporting to:

Location: Silvassa

Job Purpose: Responsible for implementing and monitoring sustainability and ESG initiatives at the plant level and preparing EPDs (Environment Product Declarations). The role focuses on improving environmental performance, ensuring compliance with ESG frameworks, reducing GHG emissions, optimizing water and waste management, and supporting the creation of sustainable products.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Sustainability Projects: Lead, support and track initiatives aimed at reducing GHG emissions, water usage, and waste across manufacturing processes and product lifecycle stages.

2) Support and ensure timely computation of Companys GHG emissions and intensities, and water footprint and be responsible for accuracy, quality and consistency of data.

3) Product EPDs Management: Develop, manage, and maintain Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for our product lines in accordance with industry standards.

4) Process Optimization: Collaborate with Operations, Production, Maintenance, and Utilities teams to identify opportunities with a focus on minimizing environmental impact.

5) Customer Support: Respond to the customers' inquiries regarding ESG matters, including sustainability performance, certifications, and environmental impacts.

6) Conduct training and awareness sessions for plant teams on sustainability and ESG practices.

7) Reporting & Compliance: Ensure that all ESG reporting requirements are met at the plant (including CPCB), ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Pre-requisite:

1) Graduation degree in engineering.

2) 10+ years of work experience with at least 4 years at manufacturing location.

3) Familiarity with environmental compliance and LCA/ EPD tools.
