Business Intelligence Engineer

The MIS team is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer with expertise in Microsoft SQL, SAP BusinessObjects, and SAP Crystal Reports. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, transform data into actionable insights, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs.
About the Role- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Design and build reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects and SAP Crystal Reports.
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored BI solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security in all reporting outputs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI tools and reporting processes.
- Maintain documentation for BI processes, data sources, and report specifications.
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and functionalities.
- Interpret data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize queries and dashboards for performance and efficiency.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
You are a strong candidate if you have:
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL, SAP BusinessObjects, and SAP Crystal Reports
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in relational database development in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL and SQL-based data manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects, including Central Management Console (CMC).
- Experience with SAP Crystal Reports for enterprise-level reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Deep understanding of BI and reporting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
