Job Description

Job Purpose:

To act as a link between the Academic and Administrative teams, supporting smooth execution of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Cambridge Primary Curriculum. The role assists the Academic Heads and Coordinators with data management, coordination, and academic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Academic–Admin Coordination

  • Serve as an interface between academic and admin teams for operational needs.

  • Forward approved requests for field trips, maintenance, and events to the admin team and follow up until completion.

  • Coordinate clarifications between academic initiators and the bursar team.

  • Data Management and Reporting

  • Collect teacher and student attendance, substitution, and performance data.

  • Update OASIS or other systems and prepare brief reports for Academic Heads.

  • Highlight irregularities or delays for timely action.

  • Administrative Support

  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and event documents.

  • Support meetings and school events through logistics, room bookings, and materials.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and communication requirements for the academic team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualification: Any graduate (Science or Commerce preferred).
  • Experience: 1–2 years in academic or administrative roles; IB or Cambridge exposure preferred.
  • Technical: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Behavioral: Organized, assertive, detail-oriented, and cooperative.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written English; local language preferred.

Job Interfaces and Relationships:

Internal: Academic Heads, Coordinators, Teachers, Admin and Bursar Teams, School Leadership Team.

External: Parents and visitors interacting with the Academic Office.
