We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our Australia based Clients in Construction Industry. This role combines Material & Cost Management, Scheduling & Resource Management and client coordination, ensuring efficient handling of bookings, material and cost management, scheduling, and workforce allocation.
The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills to interact confidently with Australian clients over phone calls , mails and text messages and the ability to manage day-to-day operational activities with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage booking requests, order processing, and confirmations with clients and vendors.
- Schedule jobs, allocate workforce, and track resource availability to meet project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, schedules, materials, costs, and operational documentation.
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone, email, and chat, providing timely updates and resolving queries.
- Track material usage, monitor costs, and support budgeting and cost control.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of materials and with internal teams for smooth execution of jobs.
- Prepare regular reports on bookings, costs, and project status for management review.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, suggest improvements, and contribute to enhancing overall service delivery efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in administration, project coordination, scheduling, or client support roles.
- Strong understanding of project management principles – scheduling, resource allocation, and cost tracking.
- Knowledge of materials, cost estimation, or budgeting in plumbing, drainage, or roofing services is a plus.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills – able to confidently communicate with Australian clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with ERP softwares is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
