Position Summary

We are seeking a visionary, entrepreneurial, and results-driven CEO / Business Head to provide strategic leadership and drive aggressive growth. This role is the apex of the company, with full P&L ownership, market expansion leadership, and accountability for positioning Akoirah as the definitive leader in the LGD jewellery space in India and globally.

The ideal candidate has top leadership experience (CXO/Founder/Director/Head) in jewellery, luxury retail, or related lifestyle industries, with direct exposure to Lab Grown Diamonds as a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Management

⦁ Define and execute Akoirah's overall business strategy, leveraging innovative methodologies like Blue Ocean Strategy to unlock new, uncontested market spaces.

⦁ Own complete P&L responsibility, ensuring profitability at both store and entity level.

⦁ Lead long-term business planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with aggressive growth targets.

⦁ Represent Akoirah as the face of the brand with stakeholders, investors, industry forums, and media.

2. Business Growth & Market Expansion :

⦁ Architect and implement a Pan-India omnichannel retail model (company-owned + franchisee stores).

⦁ Oversee end-to-end retail rollouts, including market identification, real estate acquisition, fit-outs, staffing, and operations.

⦁ Drive D2C, e-commerce, and wholesale channels to achieve multi-crore revenue targets.

⦁ Explore international market entry opportunities across the Middle East, Europe, and beyond.

3. Brand Building & Marketing

⦁ Create and position Akoirah as a premium, sustainable, and aspirational LGD brand.

⦁ Lead brand creation, communication, PR, and digital marketing to build strong market desire.

⦁ Establish strategic alliances and forge partnerships with influencers, designers, and luxury communities.

⦁ Elevate Akoirah into a luxury lifestyle brand beyond just jewellery.

4. Product, Merchandising & Supply Chain

⦁ Oversee new product development, collections, and design strategy, aligned with global jewellery trends.

⦁ Build robust vendor and supplier ecosystems, including LGD growers, manufacturers, and global sourcing partners.

⦁ Implement efficient inventory, logistics, and supply chain management to ensure scalability and profitability.

⦁ Ensure best-in-class retail operations and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent excellence.

5. Leadership & Team Building

⦁ Inspire, hire, and develop a high-performance leadership team across retail, marketing, merchandising, and operations.

⦁ Foster a winning, entrepreneurial culture with accountability, agility, and innovation at its core.

⦁ Mentor next-generation leaders and build a sustainable talent pipeline.

A.) Ideal Candidate Profile

1.) Core Experience

⦁ Proven Top Leader: Experience as a CEO, Founder, Co-Founder, Director, CXO, or VP with 10+ years in top management.

⦁ Jewellery & Luxury Retail Expertise: Strong background in fine jewellery, diamonds, or luxury lifestyle brands. Experience in gemology, diamond trading, or Lab Grown Diamonds (LGD) is a significant advantage.

⦁ Scale-Up Specialist: Track record of leading market expansion, with success in launching 50+ stores, Pan-India footprint, or international business ventures.

⦁ Revenue Driver: Documented history of multi-crore / multi-million dollar revenue growth and achieving profitability in new business units.

2.) Proven Achievements & Capabilities

⦁ Growth & Expansion: Built new businesses from scratch, launched franchise & company-owned stores, and managed warehouses / logistics infrastructure at scale.

⦁ Strategic Visionary: Implemented Blue Ocean Strategy or equivalent strategic innovations.

⦁ Operational Excellence: Optimized imports, customs compliance, vendor management, and reduced operational costs while ensuring positive EBITA.

⦁ Brand Leadership: Successfully positioned premium/luxury brands in India or global markets.
