  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for raw materials, consumables,  and services.
  • Float RFQs, collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate for best price, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Ensure timely procurement while optimizing cost, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Maintain and update approved vendor lists and procurement databases.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Production, QA, Finance, Projects) for requirement finalization.
  • Implement and monitor procurement policies, procedures, and ERP processes.
  • Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, supply agreements, and service agreements.
  • Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions related to price, delivery, payment, penalties (LD), warranty, confidentiality, and performance obligations.
  • Monitor contract performance, compliance, renewals, and dispute resolution.
  • Maintain contract records, repository, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and internal reporting.
  • Prepare MIS reports related to procurement and contracts.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce / Management / Law.
  • Preferred: Diploma or Certification in Contracts Management / Supply Chain / Legal Aspects of Business.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in procurement and contract management
