Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead our Government Business vertical. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for formulating and executing strategies that drive growth, build partnerships, and enhance revenue within the central and state government sectors.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of government procurement processes, a robust network across public sector entities, and a proven track record of securing and delivering large-scale government contracts, preferably within the insurance domain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the Government Business vertical across India.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities with central/state governments and PSUs.
  • Drive the complete bid management process tenders, EOIs, RFPs, etc.
  • Build strategic partnerships and alliances with key government stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and government procurement norms.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, tenders, and policy-level meetings.
  • Stay updated on government policies, schemes, and regulatory changes relevant to the insurance sector

Preferred candidate profile

  • 15+ years of experience in managing Government Business, preferably in the Insurance or BFSI sector.
  • Proven track record of acquiring and handling large government accounts.
  • In-depth understanding of public procurement systems, tendering processes, and policy frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
