Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead and manage the financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in finance with over 10 years of experience, including expertise in financial strategy, risk management, financial reporting, budgeting, and team leadership. As the VP of Finance, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for shaping the financial direction of the company, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:

2. Lead the finance team and collaborate with other senior executives to define and execute the companys financial strategy.

3. Advise the executive team and board of directors on financial performance, opportunities, and risks.
4. Develop long-term financial goals and strategies to enhance organizational growth and profitability.

5. Ensure financial strategies align with overall company objectives and market conditions.

6. Financial Planning & Analysis:

7. Oversee the creation and management of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long- term financial planning.

8. Lead financial modeling, performance analysis, and budgeting processes to ensure that financial goals are achieved.
9. Conduct variance analysis and interpret financial results to provide insights for decision- making.

10. Drive continuous improvement in financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

11. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

12. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.

13. Oversee all accounting functions to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS, and tax regulations.

14. Ensure compliance with all financial regulatory requirements and manage audits and tax filings.

15. Cash Flow & Capital Management:

16. Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the companys financial stability and operational efficiency.

17. Optimize the companys capital structure, making strategic decisions related to debt, equity, and investment.
18. Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, banking relationships, and funding strategies.
19. Oversee fund management ,liquidity planning , and cash flow optimization .

20. Liaise with investors, lenders, and financial institutions to secure funding .

21. Risk Management & Internal Controls:

22. Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

23. Oversee the implementation of internal controls, ensuring the safeguarding of company assets and accurate financial reporting.

24. Ensure the company maintains an effective risk management framework, including insurance, compliance, and audits.

25. Team Leadership & Development:

26. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and providing opportunities for growth and development.

27. Ensure the finance department operates efficiently, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing support.

28. Establish and maintain strong relationships with other departments, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration.

29. Investor Relations & External Communications:

30. Maintain effective communication with investors, analysts, and external stakeholders, providing transparent financial information.

31. Prepare presentations and reports for board meetings, investors, and external parties, clearly communicating the companys financial position and strategy.

32. Foster relationships with investment banks, auditors, legal advisors, and other key external partners.

33. Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Initiatives:

34. Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.

35. Assess potential business opportunities and evaluate their financial impact to support strategic decision-making.

36. Guide major capital investment decisions and provide financial oversight on strategic initiatives.

37. Business Analysis and Decision Support :

38. Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, loan portfolio analysis, asset liability management , and profitability assessments.

39. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency .

40. Provide financial insights and guidance on new business initiatives and strategic plans .

41. Banking:

42. Thorough knowledge of loan renewal, Documentation, finance arrangement from Bank.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Masters degree with CA and CS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA or professional certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in senior financial leadership roles.

Skills:

• Strong expertise in financial strategy, corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of leading financial transformations, cost management, and revenue growth.
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, and capital budgeting.
• Strong proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience managing relationships with investors, board members, and financial stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in managing cross-functional teams, large-scale financial projects, and multi-national financial operations.
• Experience in industries like manufacturing, tech, or finance with complex financial structures.
• Proven track record in mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring.
