  • Guest room cleaning:
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuuming carpets and mopping floors.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and showers.
  • Making beds and changing linens and towels.
  • Emptying trash and disposing of waste.
  • Restocking guest room supplies like toiletries and amenities.
  • Public area maintenance:
  • Cleaning and maintaining common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and elevators.
  • Keeping public restrooms clean and stocked.
  • Supplies and inventory management:
  • Stocking and organizing the housekeeping cart.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Ensuring linen closets are stocked and organized.
  • Maintenance and safety:
  • Checking rooms for technical issues, burned-out bulbs, or safety hazards.
  • Reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
  • Following all health and safety regulations.
  • Guest interaction:
  • Responding promptly to guest requests for supplies or special cleaning needs.
  • Handling guest concerns with professionalism.
  • Returning any lost and found items to the proper authority.
