Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, located in Srinagar. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role also involves preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience with accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and expenditure monitoring
  • Strong skills in reconciliations and maintaining financial accuracy
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Prior experience in an agricultural or tech-based industry is a plus
