The Head Sales & Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build the brand presence of Accurex Biomedical in India and international markets. The role involves leadership, cross-functional coordination, and customer-centric thinking to achieve aggressive growth targets.
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute national and regional sales strategies aligned with the companys business objectives.
- Drive top-line revenue growth through existing products and new launches.
- Lead, coach, and manage a high-performing pan-India sales team including Zonal Managers, Regional Managers, and OSRs.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
Marketing & Product Management:
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans including pricing, positioning, digital strategy, and promotional activities.
- Manage product portfolio life cycle from new product launches to phase-outs.
- Oversee clinical and application support strategies.
- Collaborate with R&D and QA for product improvements and regulatory support.
Channel & Key Account Management:
- Strengthen channel partner networks (distributors, dealers).
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with KOLs, hospitals, pathology labs, and institutional clients.
- Drive tender business and institutional sales growth.
Market Expansion & Intelligence:
- Identify opportunities in untapped geographies, segments, and product categories.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay ahead of market trends.
- Guide new product development inputs based on market demand.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the Managing Director, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and QA teams.
- Provide regular business updates, forecasts, and strategic input to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal SOPs.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: B.Sc / B.Tech in Life Sciences / Biomedical / Biotechnology; MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management is preferred.
- Experience: 20+ years in IVD/Healthcare/Medical Device industry; proven success in managing a national sales & marketing function.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM tools, data analytics, and digital marketing platforms.
- Willingness to travel across India.
