Role: Vice President of Operations with potential for COO/ Co-founder status

About Role:

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for directing, overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the Institutional onboarding, MSME customer ops, credit facilitation and management . This includes managing various functions such as customer service, credit and other financial inclusion products processing, compliance, and technology operations.

We are looking for a dynamic, getting it done operator and results-oriented individual with years of experience who can help us take responsibility for the operational growth of our platform .

Understanding of Transaction and Credit space.

Understanding of Business P&Ls .

Regulatory compliance and ops 

Relationship management in B2B enterprise/ institutional context 

Communication Skills

Comfortable with start-up ops scaling to handle millions of customers 

Job Description & Key Result Area :- 

1. Strategic Leadership:

  Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the overall business objectives.

  Collaborate with executive leadership to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

2. Operational Efficiency:

Streamline and optimize end-to-end loan processing workflows for maximum efficiency.

Implement best practices to enhance the speed and accuracy of loan approvals and disbursements.

3. Customer Service:

Oversee customer service operations to ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.

Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.

4. Risk Management:

Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Monitor and assess risks associated with loan portfolios and take proactive measures to mitigate potential issues.

5. Compliance:

Ensure the organization's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to implement and update policies as needed.

6. Technology Infrastructure:

Work closely with the technology team to maintain and improve the app's infrastructure.

Identify opportunities for technological enhancements to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

7. Team Leadership:

Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the operations team.

8. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations and regularly monitor and report on performance against these metrics. 

Provide regular updates to executive leadership on operational achievements, challenges, and improvements.

We truly practise flexible time with focus on output and core hours for team collaboration. While we are mostly working remotely at Fundfina and are open to applications across India, we will prefer that you are open to commuting to Mumbai or Bangalore or Noida offices when required.
