  • Zippee is looking for energetic and qualified City lead to join our Dark Store Operations team in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations and Logistics Management

  • Oversee and optimize all daily logistics operations, including rider performance, delivery efficiency, and service quality to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Manage the supply chain of riders (fleet) to meet demand, ensuring optimal deployment, utilization, and routing.
  • Set, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Cost Per Delivery (CPD), Fill Rate, Delivery Time, and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT).
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs across the city.

2. Team Management and Development

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of operations executives and city staff.
  • Lead and motivate the rider fleet, managing incentives, engagement, and disciplinary processes.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to develop team members and reduce churn.

3. Strategic Planning & P&L Ownership

  • Take full ownership of the city's Profit & Loss (P&L), including budget planning, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  • Develop and execute strategies for market penetration, scaling operations, and achieving aggressive growth targets within the city.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for expansion and service improvement.

4. Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure all city operations and the rider fleet comply with local labour laws, traffic regulations, and company safety standards.
  • Manage local vendor and partner relationships to support operational needs (e.g., rider onboarding, local marketing).
