Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
  • Should be cost estimations for Forging, Gears & Shaft, Casting & Machining, for new developments and design changes.
  • Able to identify and make detail estimates for the Toolings for the part.
  • Part cost estimations to be done at different stages of the project- initial business case, target cost setting.
  • Should be well versed with all related manufacturing processes, GD&T and able to select as per drawing requirements.
  • Study of cost drivers to optimize the cost through various alternative process, analysis, and close gaps vs targets at actualization.
  • Identify areas of cost reduction through design iteration to achieve the cost optimization at design stage itself.
  • Study new & existing manufacturing processes at supplier end to prepare Costing guidelines & std estimation Templates.
  • Collaborative working to Drive & follow Design to Cost culture in the organization.

Automobile Tractor Education Qualification
Bachelors of Technology; Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical; Bachelors of Technology in Automobile; Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile General Experience
