Position: MEP Construction Engineer

Experience: 5 - 6 Years

Preferred Industry: Semiconductor / FMCG / Solar Cell Manufacturing

Job Location: Initially Ahmedabad (Must be open to relocate based on project requirements)

Job Responsibilities

  1. MEP Execution at Site

  2. Execute mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on-site in alignment with project drawings and specifications.

  3. Take ownership of assigned site areas and ensure timely and quality delivery of MEP activities.

  4. Daily Site Management

  5. Supervise and manage daily cleanroom, MEP work, coordinating with subcontractors, labour teams, and internal departments.

  6. Ensure site readiness and material availability for uninterrupted execution.

  7. Drawing Review & Implementation

  8. Study and interpret MEP drawings, layouts, and shop drawings to execute work as per design.

  9. Flag design or execution conflicts and coordinate with the design/technical team for timely resolutions.

  10. Progress Tracking & Reporting

  11. Monitor daily work progress, maintain documentation, and report status to the Construction Manager.

  12. Ensure that work is progressing as per schedule and raise alerts for any delays or resource bottlenecks.

  13. Quality Assurance & Work Inspections

  14. Conduct inspections of MEP installations (e.g., ducting, piping, cabling, fixtures) and ensure adherence to quality standards.

  15. Rectify non-conformities in coordination with site supervisors and QA/QC team.

  16. Testing & Commissioning Support

  17. Participate in system testing and commissioning activities.

  18. Coordinate with OEMs and third-party agencies during the handover stages.

  19. Safety & Compliance Enforcement

  20. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and project-specific HSE plans.

  21. Educate and enforce safety practices among labour and subcontractors.
