Job Title: Accounts Executive

Job Location: Noida (UP)

Work experience: 3- 5 years

Work days: Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities

  • GST Compliance & Reconciliation
  • Monthly/quarterly GST return preparation, review & filing.
  • Reconcile GSTR-2A / 2B / 2 / 3B / 9 / 9C as applicable.
  • Cross-check sales, purchase, input tax credit (ITC) data, ensure correct classification of supplies.
  • Respond to GST notices, correspond with GST authorities (if needed).
  • Maintain proper supporting documents / invoices / e-way bills records.
  • TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)
  • TDS deduction, computation, entries in books.
  • Quarterly TDS return filing (e.g. Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 27EQ as applicable).
  • Reconciliation of TDS amounts deducted vs amounts deposited.
  • Issuance of TDS certificates to vendors, maintaining TDS records.
  • Statutory & Compliance Filings
  • Filing of other statutory returns (if needed) – e.g. Profession Tax, PF, ESI, etc.
  • Maintaining registers and records as required under Indian tax laws.
  • Liaising with statutory auditors during audits, providing schedules, back-up documentation.
  • General Accounting & Reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliation statements (BRS), ledger reconciliations (vendor, customer, intercompany).
  • Monitor and reconcile advances, deposits, prepayments, accruals.
  • Monthly closing entries, accruals, provisions.
  • Prepare journal entries, posting in ERP / accounting software.
  • MIS Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare periodic (monthly / quarterly) MIS reports: sales, purchases, margins, tax liability, cash flow, etc.
  • Variance analysis / trend analysis, highlighting deviations to management.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Handling Government Portals / Tax Authorities
  • Work with GSTN portal, NSDL / TIN, TRACES, etc.

o Upload / download necessary forms, respond to portal queries, generate status, certificates.

  • Track compliance timelines, due dates and ensure no defaults / late filings.
  • Process Improvement & Controls
  • Suggest and help implement process enhancements, checklists, standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure internal control adherence in accounting and compliance processes.
  • Participate in internal audits, suggest corrective actions.
  • Ad hoc Tasks & Cross-functional Support
  • Assist seniors, consultants and auditor in taxation matters.
  • Provide support during statutory audits and assessments.
  • Ad hoc financial / accounting projects as assigned by management.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of GST laws, TDS rules, and Indian tax compliance framework.
  • Proficiency in accounting software / ERP (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, etc.)
  • Excellent command over MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, multi-task.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) for interacting with auditors, tax authorities, vendors.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, strong ethics in handling financial & sensitive data.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500, ₹600,000.00 per year

  • Accounts role : 3 years (Preferred)
  • GST/TDS: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry: 2 years (Preferred)
