About the Role:

The role involves managing daily financial operations to ensure smooth and accurate financial processes. This includes maintaining precise accounting records, timely closing of monthly accounts and reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data through thorough reconciliation. The position also requires strict adherence to compliance standards, ensuring no statutory deadlines are missed. Additionally, the candidate will support the Finance Operations Team by providing timely financial analysis and insights to aid in informed decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts

• Process accounts payable (vendor invoices, expense claims) and accounts receivable (invoices, collections)

• Manage petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Support statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit processes

• Assist the Finance Team in reporting, MIS preparation, and variance analysis

• Maintain proper documentation for compliance and audit purposes

• Respond to the branches, vendor and client queries related to billing and payments

• Provide support during audits and management reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or an equivalent qualification
• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance operations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting ERP systems

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards

• Working knowledge of taxation laws, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team and with other departments
