About Job
As an L&D Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful learning programs to enhance employee skills, productivity, and engagement. You will facilitate training sessions, support the development of learning materials, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to address training needs. Your role will contribute directly to building a learning culture that supports professional development and business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Delivery & Facilitation:
- Conduct engaging training sessions (classroom, virtual, and on-the-job) across domains like soft skills, functional skills, onboarding, compliance, etc.
- Tailor content delivery to diverse learner groups and learning styles.
- Ensure high levels of participant engagement and learning retention.
Content Development:
- Assist in designing and developing training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules using instructional design principles.
- Collaborate with internal SMEs to ensure content relevance and accuracy.
- Update training content periodically to reflect business and industry changes.
Training Needs Identification:
- Partner with business units to assess employee training requirements.
- Support the L&D Manager in conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and mapping training interventions.
Program Coordination & Administration:
- Schedule training programs and coordinate logistics (venue, materials, invites).
- Maintain accurate training records using the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Provide reports and feedback summaries on training effectiveness.
Feedback & Evaluation:
- Collect post-training feedback and assessments to measure program effectiveness.
- Analyze results and provide suggestions for content or delivery improvements.
- Follow up on training impact and employee progress post-session.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in delivering training programs.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Exposure to instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Experience in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual training tools (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple training assignments.
- Basic understanding of training data analysis and reporting.
Preferred:
- Certification in Training/Instructional Design (e.g., CPTM, ATD, etc.).
- Experience in creating e-learning content or using authoring tools like Articulate, Captivate, or Canva for training decks.
