full-time Game Development Trainers
who can teach, mentor, and also contribute to
R&D projects
that push the boundaries of gaming.

Role Overview

This is a
full-time position
that blends
teaching + R&D
. Trainers will:

  • Spend ~4 hours/day training students (theory, practical, project guidance).
  • Spend ~3–4 hours/day on in-house
    R&D
    , building experimental games, exploring new tools, and creating assets for Havizo's studio.

Key Responsibilities Training & Mentorship (50%)

  • Deliver
    daily sessions
    on Unity (C#) or Unreal Engine (C++/Blueprints).
  • Teach students
    game mechanics, physics, AI, UI/UX, and optimization
    .
  • Mentor students through
    3-month training projects
    that simulate real studio environments.
  • Conduct
    assignments, code reviews, and performance feedback
    .
  • Support students in building
    playable prototypes and portfolio games
    .

Research & Development (50%)

  • Work with Havizo's core team to
    prototype new game concepts
    .
  • Research latest trends (AR/VR, procedural generation, multiplayer, AI in games).
  • Build
    tools, scripts, or reusable assets
    that students and Havizo studio can use.
  • Test new
    workflows, pipelines, and technologies
    for future projects.
  • Contribute directly to
    Havizo's in-house game studio projects
    .

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience
    in Unity (C#) or Unreal (C++/Blueprints).
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Gameplay mechanics
  • Physics and AI
  • Animation systems
  • UI/UX in games
  • Performance optimization
  • At least
    one completed/published game
    (indie, mobile, or PC/console).
  • Strong knowledge of
    OOP, data structures, and algorithms
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Git/Perforce or other version control tools
    .
  • Excellent
    teaching, communication, and mentoring skills
    .
  • Passion for
    shaping future developers
    and experimenting with game tech.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Previous
    teaching/training/mentoring experience
    .
  • Exposure to
    multiplayer game development
    .
  • Experience with
    game publishing platforms
    (Steam, Play Store, Epic Games).
  • Understanding of
    shader programming, procedural generation, or AR/VR
    .
  • Contribution to
    open-source game dev communities
    .
