Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our technology ecosystem. You'll be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performance systems that directly impact learners and educators. Your technical expertise and leadership will help drive innovation, ensure reliability, and foster a culture of excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural decisions and establish best engineering practices.
  • Design and build scalable, reliable, and secure software systems.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
  • Manage production deployments, monitoring, and incident resolution.
  • Drive initiatives for system reliability and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure a seamless user experience through collaboration with support teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Go (Golang).
  • In-depth understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Proficient in SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Passion for technology and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with React, , or other modern frontend frameworks.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices — CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes.
  • Experience in delivering end-to-end product features.
  • Interest in building intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
