As the Lead of Engineering, your role will involve overseeing the preparation, review, and finalization of engineering drawings, layouts, and detailing for turnkey sugar, refinery, and ethanol plant projects. You will coordinate with the draftsman team to ensure accuracy and standardization of engineering outputs, supporting execution teams with precise technical documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise the draftsman team in preparing GA drawings, piping layouts, equipment drawings, and structural drawings. - Review and approve all engineering drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards. - Coordinate with the Design Head to accurately translate approved designs into engineering drawings. - Standardize drawing formats, symbols, and practices across all projects. - Ensure timely delivery of drawings and documentation to project, production, and site teams. - Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and manufacturing teams to resolve engineering drawing issues. - Conduct quality checks on drawings to minimize errors during fabrication and site execution. - Provide training, mentorship, and evaluations to improve the technical skills of draftsmen. - Support tendering/proposal teams with layout drawings and technical inputs. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in engineering drawings, layouts, and detailing for sugar/process equipment and plants, with knowledge of process house equipment. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, and other drafting/design software. - Attention to detail, focusing on accuracy and standardization. - Understanding of quality standards and best practices in engineering drawings. - Leadership and people management skills to effectively guide draftsmen. - Strong coordination and communication skills for successful cross-functional teamwork.
