Role Overview:

As a 
Engineering services Delivery Manager
, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. You will play a key role in people management, hiring, delivery excellence, program management, customer engagement, and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Excellence & Program Management:

• Oversee and manage the successful delivery of multiple software projects across diverse domains.
• Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement best practices, processes, and methodologies to improve delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring proactive issue resolution.

People Management & Hiring:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing delivery team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
• Work closely with HR and recruitment teams to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance on career growth and up skilling.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

a.      Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring proactive communication and issue resolution.

b.      Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and drive value.

c.      Conduct regular client meetings, status reviews, and feedback sessions to enhance satisfaction levels.

Current customer horizontal Business Growth:

a.      Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

b.      Support pre-sales activities, including proposal creation, estimation, and solutioning.

c.      Identify up sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.

d.      Develop JD based on the voice of customer or RFI or RFQ. Ensure resource fulfilment as desired by customer keeping the on boarding timelines

Revenue Generation & Financial Accountability:

a.      Managing timesheets, employee loading, Managing T&M and billing

b.      Ensure revenue targets are met through effective project execution and customer retention strategies.

c.      Optimize resource utilization, cost management, and profitability of projects by optimal utilization of PO, invoices.

d.      Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for delivery operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

•      B.E in EE engineering or related field with Automotive program management

•      
10+ years of experience
 in 
software delivery management, program management, and customer engagement in Tier-2 Engineering services would be essential.

•      Proven expertise in leading software development teams, managing multiple projects, and ensuring successful delivery to multiple customers

•      Experience in working with global clients, GCCs and managing customer relationships effectively.

•      Excellent people management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and grow teams.

•      Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and customer success.

•      Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

•      Experience in the automotive, embedded systems, or engineering services domain is a plus.

•      Experience in the areas like CAN, UDS, algorithms, embedded C programming, Matlab+Simulink, Android AOSP, AUTOSAR, process frameworks like ASPICE, FuSa : ISO-26262, Security-ISO21434 would be advantage

•      Familiarity with DevOps, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.

•      PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.
