Role Summary

We're seeking a Data Analyst to own data analysis, reporting, and data-driven decision support for Lorri and the broader LogisticsNow platform. You'll work closely with Product, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Business stakeholders to design dashboards, perform ad-hoc analyses, and deliver insights that shape product strategy, operational improvements, and go-to-market initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Data Analysis & Reporting
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI preferred) to monitor key business metrics, product usage, and operational performance.
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Data Modeling & SQL
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to design and refine data models, marts, and pipelines for reliable analytics.
• Tools & Techniques
• Use Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros) for data analysis and stakeholder-ready deliverables.
• Apply statistical thinking and data visualization best practices to communicate findings clearly.
• Proficiency or exposure to R or Python for data analysis and scripting is desirable.
• Lorri & LogisticsNow Insights
• Analyze Lorri usage, adoption, and impact on customer outcomes; translate findings into actionable product and customer success insights.
• Partner with Product and CS to identify opportunities for feature improvements, optimization opportunities, and ROI drivers.
• Data Quality & Governance
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely refreshes; work with data governance policies and security considerations.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Present findings to cross-functional teams; translate business needs into technical requirements for dashboards and reports.
• Document methodologies, data definitions, and analytical processes for transparency and reusability.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years of data analysis or business intelligence experience in a data-driven organization.
• Technical Proficiencies:
• Power BI: proficient dashboard development, DAX, data modeling, and reporting.
• SQL: strong ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
• Excel: advanced skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data validation, macros preferred).
• Programming: exposure to Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Data fundamentals: cohort analysis, A/B testing concepts, KPIs, and data storytelling.
• Domain Knowledge: Comfortable working with logistics, supply chain, or transportation data is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication; ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with large-scale data warehouses and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security considerations in analytics.
• Experience collaborating with product, customer success, engineering, and sales teams.
• Knowledge of analytics methodologies (ROI, time-to-value, cost-benefit analysis) and ability to quantify impact.
