State Head - Karnataka

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Department: Sales Oil & Gas / Dairy
Employment Type: On-roll / On-site

About the Team:

This vertical is a focused offline payment solution team for the transit segment. We are predominantly dealing with driver partner onboarding on our Paytm platform and other retail businesses with QR Codes, Sound Box, and POS machines, handling end-to-end sales and operations in all offline products. We onboard new merchants for offline solutions and service existing merchants.

About the Role:

This is a full-time on-site role responsible for managing and acquiring new business accounts, driving sales growth, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and providing excellent customer service.

Preferred Domains: Transit Aggregator/Fintech/Bank/Telco/Insurance

Education: Post Graduate with a good academic record.

Experience: Minimum 10 years (Good in Excel & data tools required in sales & managing large setups, both teams & clients).

Responsibilities:
  1. Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations.
  2. Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
  3. Formulate and launch counter strategies for local initiatives taken up by the competition.
  4. Ability to understand data to gather the right information and plan execution accordingly.
  5. Analyze data and identify improvement areas, substantiate through market visits to identify priority spots to perform in.
  6. Plan the market size, span, and geographies for his team, both on & off roles.
  7. Devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
  8. Monitor quality parameters as suggested by the management.
  9. Validate and conduct audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
  10. Must have a smartphone.
  11. Personally manage key accounts when needed.
