Bangalore (covering Southern Region – Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Kerala)

About the Role

We're looking for a
strategic and results-driven leader
to spearhead our
Merchant Credit (B2C)
business across South India. This role combines expertise in
merchant lending
with
consumer-centric approaches
, focusing on scaling credit offerings, ensuring portfolio quality, and driving profitability across the B2C merchant segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & scale the
    Merchant Credit B2C
    business across the southern states.
  • Achieve targets for
    merchant acquisition, credit disbursal & portfolio growth
    .
  • Oversee
    risk evaluation, compliance adherence & documentation
    across states.
  • Collaborate with
    product, risk, technology & operations
    to implement credit strategies & design scalable merchant credit products.
  • Monitor KPIs such as
    portfolio growth, delinquency rates & customer retention
    .
  • Drive
    process efficiency & automation
    in merchant credit operations.
  • Build & manage a
    high-performing sales & operations team
    across multiple cities.
  • Develop
    relationships with key partners, channels & merchant associations
    across the South.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Merchant Acquisition
    – Achieve monthly/quarterly acquisition targets.
  • Credit Disbursal
    – Meet/exceed disbursal volume targets for the region.
  • Portfolio Quality
    – Maintain
    delinquency/NPA rates
    within defined thresholds.
  • Team Productivity
    – Disbursal per FOS/team member benchmarks.
  • TAT Compliance
    – Ensure credit processing & disbursal within defined timelines.
  • Audit & Risk
    – 100% adherence to risk, compliance & audit norms.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years
    of experience in
    merchant credit, lending, or MSME/BFSI
    business with leadership/regional exposure.
  • Deep understanding of
    credit assessment, underwriting & merchant ecosystems
    .
  • Proven track record of achieving aggressive
    business & portfolio targets
    at a multi-state level.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management & communication skills
    .
  • Proficiency in
    data analysis, MS Excel & digital credit platforms
    .
  • Willingness to
    travel extensively
    across southern states.
