About the Role – YouTube Strategist

We're not just looking for someone who "manages" YouTube — we're looking for someone who lives it. The kind who knows what hooks hit, what thumbnails convert, and how to make viewers binge our content like a Netflix series. 

If your brain lights up at the words "watch time," "CTR," and "retention curve," and you can turn ideas into videos that actually move numbers — we want you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow YouTube channels from zero to a strong subscriber base.
  • Plan, script, and collaborate with the creative team on video concepts that engage and retain viewers.
  • Optimize videos for search (SEO) with compelling titles, thumbnails, tags, and descriptions.
  • Analyze watch time, retention, and click-through data to improve performance.
  • Create and manage content calendars, posting schedules, and community engagement.
  • Coordinate with designers, editors, and social teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Stay updated on YouTube algorithm changes, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing or growing a YouTube channel (personal or professional).
  • Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, analytics, and monetization strategies.
  • Creativity in video content planning and audience engagement.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of YouTube trends, creator tools, and platform policies.
  • Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills for video scripts and descriptions.
