Position Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the company's market presence by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth for our range of commercial kitchen equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B sales, institutional/HoReCa segments, channel development, and project-based solution selling.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Growth & Sales Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned regions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in HoReCa, restaurants, hotels, cloud kitchens, QSRs, industrial kitchens, corporate cafeterias, hospitals, educational institutions, and catering companies.
  • Generate new leads through market research, networking, cold calling, and client visits.
  • Prepare and present proposals, commercial quotations, tenders, and technical presentations.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, architects, kitchen planners, contractors, and project managers.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide suitable equipment solutions.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and handle post-sales support coordination with internal teams.

3. Channel & Dealer Network Development

  • Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
  • Provide product training and performance guidance to channel partners.

4. Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Conduct competitor analysis, market trend studies, and segment-wise demand assessment.
  • Provide recommendations on pricing, new product opportunities, and promotional strategies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.

5. Coordination & Project Execution Support

  • Coordinate with the production, design, installation, and service teams to ensure timely delivery and project completion.
  • Participate in site visits, technical discussions, and review meetings whenever required.
  • Follow up on payment collection as per company policy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development, preferably in commercial kitchen equipment, foodservice equipment, HVAC, industrial equipment, or manufacturing.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of commercial kitchen layouts, equipment, and specifications (preferred).
  • Experience in institutional and project-based sales.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel extensively to meet clients and partners.
